A. T. Wheeler photograph collection. 1885-[1939]

This collection contains photographs of the Wheeler family. It includes the Samuel R. Wheeler family, the Alfred T. Wheeler family, and in-laws. They encompass portraits and group photographs, and were taken on family occasions, on outings in the mountains, and while living as caretaker of Boulder's watershed. Historical photographs include the flood of 1894, and Alfred T. Wheeler's service in the Colorado National Guard during miners' strikes in Cripple Creek and Telluride. Samuel R. Wheeler was the organizer and first pastor of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Boulder. He served in that position from 1893 to 1903. Alfred T. Wheeler was the son of Samuel R. Wheeler. He was caretaker of the Boulder watershed.
